The Tanzanian government will contribute 134 billion to the Tarime-Rorya Water Project.

A total of 134 billion dollars have been allotted by the government to wrap up the Tarime-Rorya Water Project, which will ultimately support more than 933,818 people. After investigating the project, which eventually completion would benefit families from 32 villages in the Rorya district and 81 streets in the tarime district, engineer cyprian luhemeja, the deputy permanent secretary of the ministry of water, delivered the following announcement yesterday. This 30-month contract will be finished on schedule. We believe that when it is finished, the residents of tarime, rorya, and sirari won't have as numerous issues with water. The Tarime-Rorya Water project involves constructing a water plant which can generate 29 million litres of water per day, a main water pipe that spans 90 kilometres, and three tanks that are capable of holding six million litres of water in Rorya, one million litres in Sirari, and three million litres in Tarime, accordingly.

In addition, the project calls for the building of three water pumping stations and the installation of a 20-kilometer water pipe network. The project will raise the percentage of people who have access to clean and safe water in tarime district from 63.4% to more than 95%, while it will raise the proportion in rorya district from 53.4% to 90%. At the same time, the citizens of Sirari expressed their gratitude to the administration of President Samia Suluhu Hassan for the water project, which they claimed will help them overcome an ongoing issue. Amos Sagara, councillor of sirari ward, stated that the citizens of sirari town are suffering from a severe water deficit. The initiative is a huge benefit for them, and they now hope to have clean and safe water at their doorstep.
